Gratitude...Day 25

"This is a wonderful time to be living here on earth. Our opportunities are limitless. While there are some things wrong in the world today, there are many things right, such as teachers who teach, ministers who minister, marriages that make it, parents who sacrifice, and friends who help.

Gratitute...Day 4 to 24

As you can see I've been super busy this month and need to do some catch up on my "gratitude journal"!

Day 4: My darling Home!
Day 5: Clean Laundry
Day 6: Le Creuset Cookware
Day 7: Extended family
Day 8: Darling babies, my friends seem to have the most adorable children!
Day 9: My job, I love working with children
Day 10: Fresh produce @ The farmers market
Day 11: A Clean kitchen
Day 12: A supportive husband
Day 13: Amazing friends & neighbors
Day 14: Cute socks for cold feet
Day 15: Acrylic Nails... my real ones always seem to break
Day 16: AGGIE BASKETBALL!
Day 17: My education, even though it seems like I will be a "forever" student
Day 18: On time departures and arrivals @ the airport!
Day 19: My Polka Dot Luggage
Day 20: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I feel so blessed to have been born into the Gospel.
Day 21: The Logan temple, where Brian & I were sealed for Eternity.
Day 22: My Nap Blanket, that I won't leave home without!
Day 23: My treadmill, couldn't live without it.

& finally....
Day 24: I am grateful for lazy days spent relaxing and de-stressing. Today is one of those days. But I sure miss my little Sadie.. she's the best cuddle bug!

Gratitude; Day 1-Day 3

Each day in November I am going to write about one thing I am grateful for so that I can get into the Thanksgiving Season and truly see what an amazing life I live.

I need to make up for a few days, so here goes Day 1, Day 2 & Day 3

Day One, Nov 1
I am grateful for a wonderful husband, Brian. Thank you for making my life so wonderful (especially the "full" part.
Day Two, Nov 2
I am grateful for my little Yorkie "Sadie" who we LOVE to death. She is always so thrilled to see me and it brightens my day.

Day Three, Nov 3
I am grateful for my iphone that keeps me on track... as well as SO many other things. I seriously feel "married" to it sometimes!

Flashback Friday...a little late!

After spending quite a bit of time shuffling through old photographs, I thought it would be fun to spend one day each week uncovering or remembering "lost" memories through photos. I will be posting memories along with pictures each week.. this week I wanted to focus on Halloween as it is steadily approaching. My mom is so amazing, she made almost every halloween costume I've ever worn. Halloween was always a fun time around our house! My spent many years in Young Men's and did "Haunted Houses" for our ward Halloween Parties each year, which were always so fun (and scary). He used to take us Trick or Treating while my Mom stayed home to pass out candy. Our house as always decked out in halloween garb and always made quite the impression on passer-bys. I love Halloween even more now that it is Brian's birthday.. so many more reasons to celebrate and enjoy this time of year!

I think I was four, this was the first Halloween at the "New House" on East Lincoln. I was a bunny rabbit and Stevie was Superman!


I used to drink out of Scottie's baby bottles ( I would put apple juice in them)...apparently I missed being a baby! This year I was a pumpkin, I think I was 5.


I was 'Snow White' in the first grade, I definitely had one of the best costumes in my class, thanks to my darling & talented mother!


I was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz in the fourth grade, Scottie was a pirate and Davie was a Firefighter!

Lovely Autumn Days

Autumn is one of my favorite times of year.I love the crisp cool air and the gorgeous colors..
A few weekends ago Brian and I went to Logan for a Utah State football game. While we were there we were able to spend time with his family as well. We went to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate Brad's birthday and graduation from USU, and then went to watch the game. We had a wonderful time enjoying a beautiful fall evening. I was also fortunate enough to catch a few minutes with one of my good friends Annie, we went shopping.. and a little more shopping, but we certainly had a wonderful time together!

New Blog!

I decided to finally consolidate my email addresses, so I don't have to keep track of as many! Which means that my old blog is going to be history...
If you'd like to follow me on this blog, I am going to make the BEST ditch effort to write at least once a week.. wink wink! Which means I won't be writing often, but either way, We'd love your company as we share our lives and memories with you!
