Visiting Chicago
Brian and I were able to spend a couple days in Chicago--mind you this was back in November! While on vacation we were able to see one of my long time friends Abby and he fiance Justin. We had dinner with them at Pizanos Pizza, and it was delicious. We spent nearly 4 hours at the restaurant catching up and enjoying our yummy pizza. We're hoping to make it back again soon! And we're also hoping I can blog more than twice a year!!

Flashback Friday; "A Sister"
I will never forget receiving the phone call from the hospital telling us that the newest addition to our family was a baby girl! I had been the only girl for such a long time and it was an amazing feeling to know that I wasn't going to be the only girl among all those boys!
Although Jordan and I are so far apart in age, we are still so very close. I am grateful for such a wonderful sister who makes coming home such a treat! I love you Jordan, and am so grateful for a sister like you!

My Perfect Valentine
Valentine's Day this year was perfect...
It started out with 60+ sugar cookies that I made and frosted on Sunday for us to bring to work. These are always a great starter to this day of love.
Upon arriving home from work, we were greeted by some yummy Krispy Kreme doughnuts from Brian's Mom.
After snacking on those delicatessens...we went to Rodizio Brazilian Grill for dinner (which is Brian's favorite), and came home for chocolate-dipped strawberries.
We exchanged cards (see below)... and I found out that next weekend will be spent in Wendover at the AIR SUPPLY CONCERT! I cannot wait, I love 80's music and I have been wanting to see them forever!!
We have a tendency of spreading out this holiday... throughout the entire year, and I can't say that I mind. I feel so fortunate to be married to such a wonderful man, who makes me his Valentine every single day of the year. Lucky, Lucky Me!
